but it's less stressful trying to speak to him and the other malaysians/singaporeans cuz i don't have to worry about my manglish popping up in our conversations. gets nerve-wrecking at times to maintain good proper english when i'm excited about the things i'm talking about. that's when i start to chatter non-stop as if i was high on air. 0.o

although my local friends has helped me improve if no less, maintain my english considering cantonese has become my mother tongue here. - -" it can be funny trying out the new aussie slangs that i learned when talking to them eg "you dodgy fellow, don't chuck my stuff of the table." haha...
